About The Active Space.

Welner Associates and Curbs & Stoops have teamed up to create a progressive arts center in the quickly growing community of Bushwick, Brooklyn. The Active Space, is an 18,000 square foot warehouse (once a feather factory) that will reflect the same diverse programming as our interactive presence. Currently, we have 6,000 sq. ft. of artist studios space available. Once renovations on the remaining 12,000 sq. ft. are completed the space will house artists studios, a residency program, exhibition spaces, and our art accessibility think tank.theactivespace The Active Space Exhibitions
