Hello.

Art is no longer for bankers and heiresses. Curbs and Stoops is working towards increasing the accessibility of art across a diverse range of socioeconomic and cultural communities. Like our name suggests, we promote art at the thresholds that define our cities, our curbs and our stoops. This way, art is not a destination, like going to a museum. Instead, it is a part of our journey. Art enriches lives.

We fulfill our mission by implementing public art projects, community installations and street art. Curbs and Stoops also sells limited edition prints by artists with a similar mission: giving art back to the people.

Whats new on Curbs?

On Tuesday, July 15th we sat in front of the Mission Playground taking free portraits of anyone that approached us - and a few that we hunted down. Check out soom of the vibrant personalities that we met here: Mission District Portraits

Many thanks to those who have donated to make this and our other public art projects possible.
