Spray Paint: The Fine Art of Chor Boogie.
A Documentary by Sarah Fisher.

Spray Paint will be a provocative documentary film that engages viewers by allowing them to witness first hand the unique techniques of renowned spraypaint artist, Chor Boogie. As one of the world’s premier urban artists, Chor Boogie’s characters and style innovations are legendary, his indefatigable work ethic is an inspiration, and his commitment to spreading a spiritual message in his art is truly admirable.

While many urban artists focus on realistic cityscapes, the culture that surrounds them, or typical graffiti letters– Chor Boogie stands out amongst the crowd. He describes his work as a “melodic symphony” and a ” therapeutic flow” of energy.

Accessible Portraiture

We set up a free urban portrait station next to a small Mission District park in San Francisco. The images served as a way of cataloging the faces in a diverse and vibrant community. To many, the portraits were an opportunity to see themselves captured in a time of growth in their community. And share these hopeful images with families and friends elsewhere. For more images go to the project page here.
