Built like a zine: paper, ink, two riso colours, and nothing phoning home.

Curbs & Stoops is a self-contained static site. Every page is plain HTML and CSS with a little local JavaScript — no external scripts, no CDN fonts, no analytics, no trackers, and no map tile servers. The five-borough map is inline SVG; pins are placed from each piece's real latitude and longitude through a documented linear projection.

The palette is a printed-zine set: paper, ink, riso red and riso blue. Photography runs through a halftone/duotone treatment so images read as riso plates. Display type is a heavy condensed grotesque; body text is set in Charter/Georgia; labels and metadata in your system's monospace.
